Gaza is Bleeding… and My Family is Trapped in the Rubble

From the ashes of war, I write to you — not to tell a sad story, but to plead for life. My family is being buried alive in silence… hungry, homeless, and broken.

Our home was our safety. Now it’s dust. We once had warm meals — now we beg for a piece of bread. My father lies helpless, ill and unable to move. My mother cries each night, unable to feed us. My little siblings ask, “When will we eat?” — I have no answer.

I write with trembling hands, not to seek pity, but because you may be the only hope we have left.

A little more about Baraa

Baraa, a student leader at Al Azhar University’s Faculty of Medical Sciences, is fighting for his life. He’s battling Hepatitis in a region where medical resources are scarce due to ongoing conflict. His family has already lost young siblings, childrens, and other relatives to the violence. Their home and university were destroyed by airstrikes. With your generosity, we can change their story. We’re raising $10,000 to help Baraa and his family escape to safety in Egypt. These funds will cover migration costs for Baraa and five family members, including vital medical treatment for Baraa.
